On July 26, 2015, ‘The Mortimer’ still was constructed on WhistlePig Farm. On this momentous occasion, not only did Master Distiller Dave Pickerell teach us a thing or two about copper, but we learned that many hands make short work. Even the young Bhaktas (Vivian, 2 years, and Hannah, 6 months) placed their tiny hands on the vat in wonder.

Although they won’t enjoy the fruits of our still for at least another 19 years, the rest of us look forward to sampling the first drops of amber liquid when it begins operating in September.
