#FarmLifeMondays

For this #FarmLifeMondays segment, we’re featuring an exciting community exercise we assisted with. This weekend, WhistlePig Farm donated an old barn to assist with a joint training exercise for the Whiting, Shoreham, and Orwell Fire Departments.

After salvaging as much of the rustic-patina barn wood as possible, we allowed the barn to be burned – while our adjacent barn was valiantly protected by the firefighters. Several brave teenage participants were training during this exercise, and we’re especially proud of them for their service to their community. A huge thanks goes out to all three departments for the opportunity to give back to our community, and for your valiant service.
