Those of you who have been close friends for many years may remember the glorious but short-lived days of Notes from the Front. Looking back, we fondly remember advice such as, “Don’t text as you walk, you could get hit by a car,” and hopeful lines like, “Lacking a printing press and, frankly, the time, to produce our own newspaper, we have decided to begin reaching out to the community in this manner.”
Well, life has moved on, and Notes from the Front has been gathering dust on a digital shelf. We still don’t have a printing press, nor do we have the time, to create a newspaper, but nevertheless we relish everything that reminds us of the past.
Enjoy.
